Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for next-gen AI systems
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical architectures
- Develop theoretical frameworks for quantum-enhanced data analysis and pattern recognition
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research funding through grant applications and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical roadmap planning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Proven expertise in machine learning frameworks and high-performance computing
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Track record of publishing peer-reviewed research in quantum/AI domains
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
