Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for unsupervised learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks operating at room temperature
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-AI solutions for drug discovery and climate modeling
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm optimization techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum neural networks
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum SDKs (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with NISQ-era quantum processors and error mitigation strategies
- Strong background in tensor networks and variational quantum algorithms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Portfolio of projects showing quantum-AI hybrid system deployments
