Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant quantum computers
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical solutions for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to mitigate noise and improve circuit fidelity
- Translate complex business requirements into quantum algorithm specifications
- Research and implement error mitigation techniques for practical quantum applications
- Lead quantum computing workshops and technical documentation for cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
