Responsibilities
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Simulate quantum circuits on high-performance computing clusters using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and gate fidelity
- Implement hybrid quantum-classical pipelines for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with MIT and Stanford quantum computing labs
- Translate academic papers into production-ready quantum software libraries
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and ACM conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction protocols
- Expertise in linear algebra, group theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance parallel computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in cryptographic systems and post-quantum standards
