Job Description
Join FutureTech Innovations as a Quantum Computing Architect to pioneer the next frontier of computational technology. We're building quantum systems that will revolutionize cryptography, material science, and artificial intelligence by 2026. This role offers unparalleled opportunity to shape the quantum landscape while working with Nobel Prize-winning researchers and industry pioneers.
Our state-of-the-art quantum lab in San Francisco provides an environment where theoretical meets practical. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop scalable quantum architectures, optimize qubit stability, and design error-correction protocols. We offer competitive compensation, flexible work arrangements, and dedicated R&D budget for cutting-edge experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization for real-world applications
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, topological, superconducting)
- Collaborate with security teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
