Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity by 2026
- Create hybrid algorithms bridging classical HPC and quantum acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Secure patents for novel quantum gate designs and optimization techniques
- Collaborate with DARPA and IEEE on quantum security standards
- Present breakthroughs at major conferences like Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Proven track record of scaling quantum processors to 100+ qubits
