Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit technologies and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with existing cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications and performance benchmarks
- Create quantum software development frameworks and SDKs for enterprise clients
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum services (Amazon Braket, IBM Quantum) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and classical optimization techniques
