Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems using superconducting and topological qubit technologies
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum machine learning solutions
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-cooled system integrations
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Research and implement novel quantum simulation techniques for drug discovery
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record in publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system integration and calibration
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Certification in Quantum Computing Architecture (QCA) preferred
