Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for next-gen security frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum error correction techniques
- Conduct research on quantum advantage applications in financial modeling and drug discovery
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum coherence times and gate fidelities
- Document quantum system architectures and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Proven track record of implementing quantum error correction codes
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable technical strategies
