Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction frameworks for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Architect scalable quantum hardware interfaces and integration protocols
- Lead quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-accelerated neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity theory
