Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error-correction frameworks achieving fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems for real-world industrial applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware configurations
- Partner with national labs on quantum networking infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years developing quantum systems with demonstrated qubit coherence >99.9%
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor design
