Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale applications
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum algorithm optimization
- Document architectural specifications for FDA-compliant quantum medical devices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Familiarity with NISQ-era limitations and mitigation strategies
- Ability to secure DoD/NSF-level quantum security clearances
