Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization algorithms
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic computing)
- Collaborate with clients to implement quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Document technical specifications and create implementation roadmaps
- Stay current with quantum hardware advancements from IBM, Rigetti, and IonQ
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (Azure Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Expert knowledge in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
