Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and topological error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Research and implement novel quantum communication protocols for secure networks
- Drive patent creation for proprietary quantum hardware innovations
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record scaling quantum systems beyond 100 logical qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D grants from government agencies
