As our Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design scalable quantum algorithms, optimize error correction protocols, and lead cross-disciplinary teams to solve previously unsolvable problems. Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and material science applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives with engineering teams
- Develop quantum error correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Translate quantum research into commercial IP and patent portfolios
- Mentor junior quantum engineers through our Quantum Academy program
- Present quantum breakthroughs at industry conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or error correction protocols
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and complexity theory
- Proven ability to lead technical teams through quantum commercialization
