Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing frameworks for enterprise-scale applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead the design of hybrid quantum-classical systems leveraging cloud-native deployment models
- Develop error mitigation protocols and fault-tolerant quantum algorithms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelity
- Create quantum security protocols for next-generation communication networks
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive quantum software standardization initiatives across industry consortia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and assembly-level quantum control
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms with practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
