Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional ethics reviews for machine learning models exceeding $10M impact thresholds
- Develop governance protocols for AI-human collaboration in high-stakes environments
- Conduct bias audits using advanced statistical methods and adversarial testing
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Present ethical impact assessments to C-suite executives and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior data scientists on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, ML governance, or responsible tech leadership roles
- Deep expertise in AI fairness metrics (disparate impact, demographic parity)
- Experience with adversarial testing and model interpretability tools (SHAP, LIME)
- Strong understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes
- Published work in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership at major conferences
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into executable business policies
