Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-machine learning hybrids
- Secure quantum-safe cryptography solutions for critical infrastructure
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or commercial development
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum programming languages
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
