Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning models
- Research emerging quantum hardware technologies (photonic, trapped ion, spin-based)
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor integration
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of leading complex hardware-software integration projects
