Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems optimized for 2026-era applications
- Lead R&D in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor integration
- Drive quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum principles and implementation
- Author technical whitepapers and contribute to quantum computing standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or enterprise quantum system design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading complex technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
