Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead prototyping of quantum processors with 1000+ qubit systems
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum error correction
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature symposiums
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in next-generation methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence or entanglement
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control engineering
