Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Integrate quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Lead quantum software development in Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with experimental physicists to calibrate quantum hardware
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and contribute to open-source quantum SDKs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and classical Python/C++
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
