Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols to maintain qubit coherence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions
- Optimize quantum circuits for specific hardware architectures
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum computing methodologies
- Document technical specifications and create performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level system programming
- Strong understanding of quantum hardware constraints and decoherence
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
