Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error-correction architectures for fault-tolerant computing
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Architect cryogenic control systems supporting 1000+ qubit processors
- Establish quantum security protocols for 2026-era data networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on photonic and superconducting qubit development
- Document quantum architecture blueprints for patent applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Deep understanding of quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Familiarity with quantum annealing and D-Wave systems
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
