Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and coherence
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Conduct research on topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI, cybersecurity, and materials science divisions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary R&D environment
- Security clearance eligibility (US citizenship required)
