Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and drug discovery
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with 100+ qubit scalability
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Mentor cross-functional team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN on quantum internet protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published work in Nature/Science/Physical Review X
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience leading DARPA or NSF-funded quantum projects
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence
