Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for commercial applications in cryptography and AI optimization
- Lead a cross-functional team of physicists and software engineers in quantum system development
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify high-impact use cases for quantum computing
- Drive research initiatives to achieve quantum supremacy milestones by 2026
- Secure research grants and publish findings in top-tier scientific journals
- Maintain compliance with quantum security protocols and ethical AI frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development and error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience mentoring research teams in academic or corporate settings
