Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and molecular simulation
- Design and optimize quantum circuits on superconducting qubit platforms
- Publish 3+ papers/year in Nature/Science journals
- Manage team of 5 PhD researchers and secure $2M+ in grants
- Partner with IBM and Google Quantum AI teams on open-source frameworks
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Proven track record of securing NSF or DoE grants
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers
