Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead 15+ person research teams in Austin and Berlin
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum projects
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D grants
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics or Computer Science (MIT/Stanford preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on quantum circuit development
- Published research in top-tier physics journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and D-Wave tools
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret)
- Fluency in Python and C++ for quantum simulations
