Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets and cross-functional teams
- Secure patents and publish in top-tier journals
- Develop quantum error correction protocols
- Partner with government agencies on national security projects
- Mentor PhD researchers and post-docs
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science with 8+ years quantum research
- Published 10+ papers in Nature/Science/Physical Review
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Track record of securing government grants ($2M+)
- Strong Python/C++ programming background
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
