Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum architectures on next-generation processors
- Secure $5M+ in federal and industry research grants for 2026 quantum initiatives
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory and practical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 5 first-author papers)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error mitigation techniques
- Proven track record of securing DoE/NASA grants for quantum R&D
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and NISQ-era algorithm development
- Experience leading teams of 10+ quantum researchers in high-stakes environments
