Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum error correction
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum system performance
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research funding
- Mentor PhD researchers and lead cross-functional quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Strong background in quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Track record of securing government research grants
