What You'll Achieve:
Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications. Architect scalable quantum systems interfacing with classical computing paradigms. Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and lead open-source quantum computing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Secure patents and publish research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
