Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems with 99.9%+ fidelity
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum journals
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NASA research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum error correction techniques
- Develop quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026 infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits
- Publication record in top quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Clearance for NASA/DARPA collaborative projects
- Portfolio of quantum algorithm implementations
