Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence times
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating quantum proofs-of-concept into production-ready frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/ARPA-E grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum annealing and gate-based architectures
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems (IBM Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
