Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Design and execute experiments on superconducting quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical models
- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Present findings at global tech summits (Davos, Web Summit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, PRL)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Proven ability to secure research funding (>$500K)
