Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Lead experiments on 100+ qubit superconducting processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to design error correction protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $1M+ in government and industry grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at global quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2021-2023 graduates preferred)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or trapped ions
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with HPC optimization
- Demonstrated grant-writing success
