Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead research teams in quantum error correction and qubit stability optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop patentable quantum solutions for financial modeling and drug discovery
- Mentor junior researchers and establish university partnerships
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposia
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory
