Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional research teams on quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure patents for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Partner with NASA, IBM, and Stanford on quantum supremacy projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics (Nature/Science preferred)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing frameworks and GPU acceleration
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (Rigetti, IonQ, D-Wave)
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
