Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments on quantum annealing systems for optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
- Author breakthrough publications in IEEE and Nature journals
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum error correction techniques
- Present findings at global quantum summits including Q2B and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry breakthrough)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with D-Wave or IBM Q systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Proven track record in securing government research funding
- Patents in quantum algorithms or hardware (preferred)
