Responsibilities
- Lead advanced quantum algorithm research for practical 2026 applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Design and execute quantum circuit simulations on next-gen hardware platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing tech stacks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
- Secure and manage research grants from DARPA, NSF, and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and error correction techniques
- Published record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments and cloud platforms
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience securing federal research funding preferred
