Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM/Google quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale AI applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and error correction protocols
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DARPA grants for next-gen quantum research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded quantum projects
- Proven track record of translating theoretical research into commercial prototypes
