Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications

- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure and manage research grants from federal and private institutions
- Drive intellectual property strategy with 15+ patents filed annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Demonstrated experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Ability to secure $500K+ in annual research funding
