Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Design error-corrected quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware team to benchmark quantum processor performance
- Lead research projects with 3-5 member cross-functional teams
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra and group theory
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into practical solutions
