Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications

- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage $1M+ in research grants from government and private entities
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates in quantum theory
- Translate theoretical advances into commercializable IP portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Demonstrated success securing government research grants
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
