Responsibilities
- Architect novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Simulate and validate quantum systems using industry-standard frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Lead cross-functional projects in AI-assisted quantum circuit design
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years in quantum algorithm development or hardware-software integration
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in error correction codes and quantum error mitigation
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and quantum supremacy
