Responsibilities
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Design and validate quantum error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional prototyping teams for quantum hardware
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Author 4+ peer-reviewed publications annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with Intel and IBM on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
