Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols to achieve 1000+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams in building hybrid quantum-AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for quantum hardware development
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level quantum hardware control
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
