Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for NISQ and fault-tolerant architectures
- Develop error mitigation techniques for 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit compilation
- Lead research in quantum machine learning applications for predictive analytics
- Publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum simulation frameworks
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
