Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing experiments using superconducting qubits
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
